Charletta Behn

Charletta Behn has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different organizations. Charletta started their career in 2006 as a CPS Investigator with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, where they investigated allegations of child abuse and neglect and provided community resources to families. Charletta also worked as a CPS Sexual Abuse Investigator and Youth Service Specialist during this time.

In 2014, Charletta joined Harris County as a Community Supervision Officer, where they provided supervision to clients in the STAR DRUG COURT program and implemented evidence-based practices. Charletta then transitioned to Core Academy in 2016, working as a Teacher.

In 2017, Charletta joined Gateway Foundation as a Cognitive Counselor I, responsible for a caseload of ladies in substance abuse treatment and facilitating cognitive behavioral therapy groups. Charletta also worked as a Direct Care Monitor during this time.

Charletta then joined Harris County as a Juvenile Supervision Officer in 2018, responsible for the direct supervision of residents and their activities in a residential facility.

Charletta later moved to BCFS Health & Human Services in 2019 as a Regional Director, overseeing operations and support services. Charletta also served as an Advocate Supervisor within the same organization.

In 2021, Charletta started their own business, Behn With A Twist 360 Photobooth, as the owner. Currently, they are Senior Director of Family Support at One More Child.

Charletta Behn received their Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Wiley College in 2005. Charletta then pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Texas Southern University in 2007.
