Maarten de Jong

Maarten de Jong has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2004 with an internship at Sri Toys International as an Intern Production Manager. In 2006 they became a Management Assistant for Fair Ventures and in 2007 they joined BiD Network Foundation as Lead Investor Matchmaking and Partner Manager. In 2012 they co-founded Pepperdecks and Start Green Venture Capital, where they held the role of Manager Crowdfunding. Maarten also co-founded Oneplanetcrowd in 2012, where they were the Co-Founder and Managing Director. In 2013 they took on the role of Treasurer for Professional Passionates and in 2015 they became the Chairman of the Board for Branchevereniging Nederland Crowdfunding.

Maarten de Jong attended the University of Groningen from 1999 to 2006, where they obtained an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management Science. In 2015-2016, they completed the Opleiding Zakelijke Kredietverlening at NIBE-SVV Opleidingen. In 2016, they completed the Growth Hacking Academy at Growth Tribe.
