Shaun Martinak

Shaun Martinak has a wealth of experience in the asset management industry. Shaun's career began in 2006 as an Analyst at Mercer. In 2008, they moved to D. E. Shaw & Co. as a Manager. In 2011, they joined Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan as a Senior Principal and Portfolio Manager. In 2019, they joined BCI as Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, where they created the direct and co-investment portfolio in Capital Markets. In 2021, they became a Research/Portfolio Manager at One River Asset Management.

Shaun Martinak obtained an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in 2010, majoring in Finance and Economics. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Engineering Mechanics and a B.A. in Mathematics and English Literature from Columbia University between 2001 and 2006.
