Joy Barnes

Joy Barnes is a skilled professional with extensive experience in health communications, program management, and creative development. Currently an intern at ONE School US, Joy is involved in helping students create advertising portfolios. At the Baltimore City Health Department, Joy serves as a Health Communications Specialist and Program Manager, focusing on overdose response efforts and coordinating the Overdose Fatality Review Team. Previous roles include an Apprentice at The Workshop, a Creative Writing Instructor at Dewmore Baltimore, and a Marketing Communications Intern at the Black Arts District. Joy holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Morgan State University and completed an advertising portfolio program at ONE School.
