Peter Duncan

Peter Duncan has a diverse range of experience in finance and leadership roles. Peter is currently working as a Finance Director at Bitpanda Pro since 2022. Prior to this, they held the positions of Chief Finance Officer/Managing Director at Simply Effective Solutions starting in 2015. From 2018 to 2021, they served as Chief Financial Officer/Advisory at The Exact Group. Before that, they were the Chief Financial Officer/Advisory at First United Capital Group from 2017 to 2019. Peter also worked at HSBC as the Global Head of Finance for Finance Transformation in 2017 and as the Global Head of Finance for IT & Infrastructure Transformation in 2016. Peter has experience in managing financial portfolios and programs as the Head of Finance at Direct Line Group from 2012 to 2016. Prior to this, they worked as a Commercial Finance Manager at Agilysys in 2012. Peter began their career in finance at Westminster City Council as a Corporate Finance Manager from 2008 to 2012. Peter also served as a Commercial Finance Business Partner at Vertex Data Science from 2004 to 2008.

Peter Duncan completed their Master of Arts in Accountancy and Economics from Heriot-Watt University in 2003. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Arts in Combined Studies with a focus on Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Aberdeen from 1998 to 2001.
