Prashil Raj Shrestha

Prashil Raj Shrestha is currently serving as a One Young World Ambassador since October 2023 and as a Mechanical Engineer at ASMPT SMT Solutions since April 2023. In the role at ASMPT, Prashil focuses on hardware engineering, including bug fixing, design and drawing solutions using NX and Teamcenter, as well as testing changes through CNC machining and 3D printing. Prior experience includes contracting at BigSis, a pest control technology company, and working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Real Time Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where Prashil was involved in product design and development using various CAD software. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Research and Development Engineer at Selcouth Technology, a Research Assistant at Kathmandu University, and an intern at Pro-Mech Minds & Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd. Prashil holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from Cranfield University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kathmandu University.
