Lia Head-Rigby has diverse work experience in various industries. In 1998, they founded the Media Mavens Group, where they served as the Chief Leadership Strategist and Founder, specializing in PR, hospitality management, event management, recruiting, project management, and writing. Lia also worked at Fit Farm as the Communications Director & Operations Assistant to the Founder, responsible for communications, marketing, and public relations. Lia later became the General Manager of Lodge Operations at the fitness retreat.

Furthermore, Lia and their husband jointly managed daily operations at GreenCuts Lawn & Order, overseeing multiple properties and coordinating tasks such as landscaping, pool maintenance, vehicle maintenance, housekeeping, and construction projects.

Lia Head-Rigby completed a BSc in Hospitality from St. Thomas University in 1989, and then obtained another BSc in Hospitality from Florida International University in 1993. Recently, in 2020, they received a certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University - College of Business. Lia also holds a degree in Hospitality Management with a specialization in Tourism Promotion Operations from the University of The Bahamas. In 2017, Lia obtained the Woman In Action - National Profile certification, and they also have the Bill Tiefel Awards - Service Excellence certification from Marriott International.
