Catherine Newell

Catherine Newell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Catherine is currently the Head of Senior Account Management at Advanced, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Sales at Clear Review–an Advanced company, starting in November 2021.

Before joining Advanced, Catherine held various roles at MHR, a talent management and payroll solutions company. From February 2015 to August 2021, they served as the Head of Business Development. Before that, they worked as the HRO Operations Manager from March 2014 to February 2015. Catherine also has experience as a Service Desk Manager, Service Desk Team Leader, and Service Desk Analyst at MHR from 2006 to 2014.

Earlier in their career, Catherine worked as a Customer Support Analyst at Ceridian from August 2004 to August 2006, and at Cognito Software from July 2002 to August 2004.

Catherine Newell pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons degree in Computer Science from The Open University from 1995 to 2001. Prior to that, they engaged in Post Graduate Studies at the Royal College of Music from 1988 to 1990. In their earlier years, Catherine studied Music Performance, General, and obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama from 1985 to 1988. Catherine completed their secondary education at Harris Academy, Dundee, from 1980 to 1985.
