David Birch

David Birch is a senior software engineer at OneDay. Prior to their current position, David worked as a software engineer at Carbon Black, Inc. from March 2018 to October 2019. As part of a web and mobile application consulting team, David worked daily with clients managing projects, expectations and ensuring quality work, as well as managing a number of off-site contractors. David's responsibilities included advising on and assisting in the development of effective brands and user interfaces.

Before their time at Carbon Black, David was a staff software engineer at Bazaarvoice from May 2016 to February 2018. David was promoted to graphics specialist during their time there. From April 2014 to December 2014, they served as senior software developer at Bazaarvoice, developing SPWA. David also worked as a javascript developer at FeedMagnet from October 2013 to December 2014.

David has also held positions as a software developer at Cisco from May 2013 to October 2013, director of web technologies at Leveler from January 2015 to October 2021, and co-principal consultant at Crunchy Bueno LLC. Prior to that, they were a SW developer at CyberSource from August 2012 to May 2013.

David Birch graduated with a BA in Communications and Media Studies from Azusa Pacific University. David then went on to get certified as an Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate and an Amazon Web Services Certified Developer - Associate. Finally, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance.

David Birch reports to Edmund Danyal, CTO. They are on a team with Ryan Gray - Director of Product, Liz Da Silva - UX/UI Designer, and Richard Mueller - Senior Software Engineer.
