OneDegree is a new generation of InsurTech that reimagining the industry with design and digital innovation. Our mission is to set new standards for insurance that puts customers first.  

We are among the first batch of virtual insurers authorized by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority to provide insurance products purely through online channels. We pride ourselves on providing breakthrough innovations in products and services via our digital platform. We are currently offering Pet, Fire, Critical Illness and Home Insurance and expected to provide wider coverage to the general public in the coming year.

We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a summer intern. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and exciting work environment.

Direct report to the Head of Partnership. The Partnership Intern will be a part of the Partnership department and will act as key team-wide coordinator supporting and assisting the department head on a wide range of Partnership campaigns, daily operational and client management activities working in different industries. 

The role requires an organised, personable, and pro-active individual who has an eye for detail and enjoys working in dynamic and fast-growing business environment. An eagerness to learn and a positive attitude would be the key to success in this role. 

What you will be doing:  

  • Support the Head of Partnership on end-to-end Partnership campaigns from development to execution, and campaigns management (e.g. timely Promotional materials update, performance monitoring, fulfilment etc.)
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify partnership opportunities.
  • Support the development of internal and external documents (e.g., presentations, overviews, workshops, reports etc.) 
  • Conduct diverse market research to support client servicing.
  • Coordinate Partnership Events and Client workshops.
  • Assist the Partnership team to manage daily operational tasks and any projects assigned by the Department Head.

What we are looking for: 

  • Students pursuing a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or related disciplines.
  • Passion for Partnership, Business Development and Clients Servicing.
  • Emphasis on timelines and delivery of projects under pressure 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. is a distinct advantage. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
