Davide Mazzoleni

Backend Software Engineer at Onedot

Davide Mazzoleni has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Davide started their career as an Apprendista at Tinext SA in 2011. Davide then worked as a Soldier in the Schweizer Armee from July 2012 to November 2012, where they received basic and advanced training.

In 2016, Davide worked as an Affiliate at Berkeley Lab, where they completed their Bachelor thesis. Davide focused on porting a HPC framework and making it work on Hadoop's cluster, as well as dynamically allocating YARN's containers to create POP-Java's nodes on the fly.

From July 2017 to January 2018, they worked as a Scientific Collaborator at the College of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg.

In 2018, Davide was a Student Trainee at RIKEN, where they gained valuable experience.

In 2019, they joined DOS Group as a Backend Developer Intern for a short period from February to March. Davide then moved on to Onedot, where they currently work as a Backend Software Engineer starting from April 2019.

Davide Mazzoleni's education history began in 2008 at Arti e Mestieri Trevano, where they pursued their secondary education and earned a degree in "Apprendista informatico." From 2013 to 2016, they attended Ecole d'ingénieurs et d'architectes de Fribourg / Hochschule für Technik und Architektur Freiburg, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Informatics. Davide went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Information and Communication Technologies at HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale from 2016 to 2018.
