Gayatri Deshpande

Gayatri Deshpande is an associate in the Development department at OneEnergy. Gayatri has previous experience working as an Energy and Utility Analyst at SunPeak and an Energy Intern at Bonduelle Americas.

At SunPeak, Gayatri was responsible for researching and applying solutions to help the company advance in its commitment for a sustainable future. This included finding ways to reduce energy consumption, researching solar PV systems, and coordinating recycling initiatives.

At Bonduelle Americas, Gayatri assisted the Operations Manager with the enrollment process, coordination, record maintenance and data distribution for the plant’s participation in the ‘Strategic Energy Management Program’ run by the organization ‘Focus on Energy’. Gayatri also managed the software installation, trouble-shooting process, record keeping and ensured the smooth working of energy sub-meters for tracking the plant’s energy usage. In addition, Gayatri maintained the Daily utility log tracker for record keeping of electricity, Natural gas & water usage used for producing the daily output (product), and conducted research on the land, capital and utility requirements for installing a Solar PV system.

Gayatri Deshpande has a Master's degree in Environment & Resources from the Nelson Institute at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Gayatri also has a Certificate in Energy Analysis and Policy (EAP) from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, Gayatri has a Master's degree in Sustainability Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from Fergusson College. Finally, they have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from Fergusson College.

Gayatri Deshpande reports to Eric Udelhofen, Director, Development. They work with Steve Griffith - Associate Director, Development, Beth Esser - Manager, Development, and Annie Wagner - Associate, Development.
