Arnab Bhattacharjee

Arnab Bhattacharjee has extensive experience in the field of research and bio-analytics. Arnab is currently serving as the Head of Discovery Research at Onego Bio since July 2023. Prior to this, they held a role as the Head of Discovery Research and Bio-analytics at Herantis Pharma Plc. from January 2022 to July 2023. Within the same company, they also worked as a Senior Scientist from January 2018 to December 2021.

Before joining Herantis Pharma Plc., Arnab Bhattacharjee worked at the University of Helsinki, where they held various positions. Arnab was a Senior Researcher from January 2018 to December 2018. From December 2013 to December 2017, they worked as a Post-doctoral Scientist, primarily focusing on spearheading different structural biology projects and guiding young PhD and masters students. Arnab Bhattacharjee's education history begins with their secondary schooling at Ramkrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur, from 1987 to 1993. Arnab then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences at The University of Burdwan from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they attended the University of Mysore from 2000 to 2002, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Life Sciences. In 2001 and 2002, Arnab enrolled in APTECH computer education and earned a Post graduate diploma in Computer Programming, Specific Applications. Finally, they joined the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Helsinki and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology and Biophysics from 2007 to 2013.
