Arika Linton

Arika Linton, M.A. has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Arika has worked as a Director of Teacher Support at OneGoal since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Social Media Specialist at Trinity United Church of Christ - Chicago starting in 2022. Arika has also served as a Contributing Writer for PYNK Magazine and Chicago Defender in 2022. In 2020, they worked as a Blogger at Blavity Inc. Additionally, Arika has experience in the education sector, working as a Senior Recruitment Manager at City Year from 2022 to 2023 and as a Post Secondary Manager at Chicago Tech Academy from 2020 to 2022. Arika has also held roles as an Adjunct Professor at North Park University in 2023 and as a Dean of Students at Chicago Public Schools from 2017 to 2020. Arika's work history also includes a brief stint as an Event Producer for the New 28 Power Dinner in 2016, where they organized and secured sponsorships for an event honoring millennials of color in entertainment. Throughout their career, Arika has demonstrated strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for social impact and empowering young individuals.

Arika Linton, M.A. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago in the years 2008 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University, graduating in 2021.
