Randy Dulaney has a diverse range of work experience. Randy started their career as a Maintenance Assistant at Moline School District No. 40 in 1973 and worked there until 1979. Following that, they joined John Deere as a Press Operator from 1979 to 1983. Randy then worked at Muscatine County as a Maintenance Specialist from 1985 to 1990, where they took care of electrical, mechanical, and general cleaning tasks, as well as interacted with the care facility residents. Randy later became self-employed as a Farmer from 1982 to 1992. Finally, they joined ONEOK in 1992 as a Lead I&E Technician.

Randy Dulaney has a diverse education history. Randy started their education journey by earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Computer Programming from Black Hawk College in 1977. Randy then pursued further education and obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Eastern Iowa Community College in 1991. Building upon their technical skills, Randy attended Des Moines Area Community College from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Finally, they enrolled at Simpson College from 2005 to 2012 to study Computer Science, pending the completion of their degree. In addition to their formal education, Randy has obtained several certifications in subjects like Arduino, PLC development, SCADA, PLC ladder logic, VMware, and Industrial Automation through LinkedIn.
