Kristen Maquaire

Performance Engineer For Space Instrumentation at ONERA

Kristen Maquaire is a Performance Engineer specializing in space instrumentation at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab, focusing on high-sensitivity accelerometers for the NGGM mission under ESA since November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Member at AREX Costa Rica, where Kristen contributed to the Polaris project for a non-grounded rover aimed at Titan, leading both the Chemistry & Heat Transfer team and the Mission Profile subteam. Kristen also worked at CNES as a Mechanical Architect, involved in the development of a 3U nanosatellite during the preliminary definition phase, and participated in R&T tests at the Institut de physique du globe de Paris for the SEIS instrument on Mars Insight. Earlier experiences include a research internship at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics and a summer internship at Scania France. Kristen holds an engineering degree in aerospace engineering from École Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile, obtained in 2022.
