Meyyappan Sevugan

Meyyappan Sevugan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Meyyappan is currently working as a Principal DevOps Engineer at OneTrust since April 2021. Prior to this, Meyyappan worked at Equifax as a Sr. DevOps Engineer from March 2019 to April 2021, where they were responsible for writing groovy scripts, creating Helm charts, and managing GKE deployment pipelines. Before Equifax, they served as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Cox Communications from September 2017 to March 2019, focusing on operational support and optimization of middleware platforms. Meyyappan also served as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Amdocs from October 2010 to September 2017, where they specialized in Oracle IAM administration, automation, and server maintenance using Python, Shell, Jenkins, and Ansible. Prior to that, they gained experience in various roles at T-Mobile, where they started as a Quality Assurance Analyst and later progressed to System Analyst and System Admin positions. Additionally, Meyyappan has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas and as a Software Developer at Indchem Software Ltd. Overall, they have a strong background in DevOps, infrastructure management, and automation.

Meyyappan Sevugan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2001 to 2002. Meyyappan Sevugan also holds a certification as a Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer, obtained in 2021 from Google.
