Damian Mc Loughlin

Damian Mc Loughlin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation fuel industry. Damian has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current role as the Head of Sustainability at oneworld Alliance since November 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director, Commercial at oneworld Alliance starting in September 2022.

In 2022, Damian also served as an Advisory Board Member for FlyORO and JetPerfect Foundation.

Before joining oneworld Alliance and these advisory roles, Damian worked as a Freelance Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Consultant from January to September 2022.

From 2017 to 2022, Damian worked at Neste, where they held multiple roles including Senior Sales Manager - Sustainable Aviation Fuel (The Americas), Senior Sales & Origination Manager - Sustainable Aviation Fuel (Europe and ASPAC), and Commercial Development Manager - Renewable Aviation (Europe and ASPAC). These roles involved relationship management, business development, and commercial supply opportunities in the sustainable aviation fuel market.

Prior to Neste, Damian worked as an Aviation Fuel Consultant at Estuary Aviation Fuel Consultants from 2013 to 2017 and as a Commercial & Business Development Manager at eJet International Limited from 2014 to 2015.

Damian also has experience as a Regional Director at AEG Fuels DMCC in 2012 and as a Corporate Sales Manager - Fuel & Services - Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia Pacific at Skyplan Services Ltd. in 2011.

Damian's early career included roles at BP, where they served as a Commercial Airline & General Aviation (Fuel) Sales Manager and Market / Territory Manager - Middle East / South Asia from 2004 to 2011. In these roles, they managed customer relationships, delivered fuel sales, and developed sales strategies and pricing policies.

Overall, Damian Mc Loughlin has a wealth of experience in the aviation fuel industry, including roles in sales, business development, sustainability, and consultancy.

Damian Mc Loughlin completed a marketing certification program at Waterford Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they received their Leaving Certificate from St. Munchin's College in Limerick from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Sustainable Supply Chains from LinkedIn in 2022.
