Nishant Gupta

Nishant Gupta has over 10 years of work experience. In 2010, they began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of North Texas in Materials Science. Nishant then worked as an Intern at Passport and Visa Express in 2012. In 2014, they worked as a Product Supply Engineer Intern at Procter & Gamble. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Citium Advisors LLC, where they used test-driven development and object-oriented design to create a simulator of futures exchanges. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at Bloomberg LP as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built general data models and data infrastructure for third-party data. Nishant also created an interface for non-technical users to configure ETL transformations for automated onboarding of large datasets. From 2022 to present, they have worked at NKG Solutions Inc as a Senior Engineer/Software Architect, where they provide software solutions for data technology companies. Nishant also built the data model and infrastructure for managing all core metrics data within AWS. Additionally, they set up CI/CD workflows using Gitlab CI for automated software deployment. Nishant is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at OnFrontiers.

Nishant Gupta attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the Texas Academy of Math and Science (TAMS) at UNT from 2010 to 2012.
