Arup Sarmah

Arup Sarmah has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, with their most recent role being Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at ONGC Tripura Power Company Ltd since April 2022. Arup previously held positions at OTPC and M/S ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited as General Manager and GM, Commercial, respectively. Before that, they worked at NEEPCO where they were responsible for preparing tariff petitions, managing power sales and billing, revenue collection, and handling regulatory matters.

Arup Sarmah pursued their Matriculation degree from Golaghat Bezbaruah Govt. Higher Secondary School between 1978 and 1981. Afterward, they attended Dibrugarh University from 1982 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree. The field of study for both of their educational experiences is not specified.
