Neha Khivansara

Neha Khivansara has work experience dating back to 2015. Neha started as a NASA intern reporting to a senior scientist on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbit Camera project responsible for data creation on the Apollo 11 landing site. In 2016, they became a summer intern at Esri and then later joined Onix as a Jr. Geospatial Engineer. Neha was then promoted to Geospatial Engineer, and more recently to Customer Engineer, a role in which they currently work.

Neha Khivansara completed their secondary school education at Symbiosis School in 2008, and then went on to earn their Higher Secondary School degree from Abasaheb Garware College in 2010. Neha continued their studies at Fergusson College, Pune University from 2010 to 2013 and received a Bachelor's degree in Geology. From 2013 to 2015, Neha pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Geology/Earth Science at the University of Pune. Neha then completed a Masters of Advanced Studies in Geographical Information System from Arizona State University from 2015 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Neha has obtained various certifications over the years, including Arc GIS for Server- Site Configuration and Administration, Building Geodatabases, Basics of Python (for ArcGIS 10), Python Scripting for Geoprocessing Workflows, and Python Scripting for Map Automation, all from Esri. Neha also obtained a Diploma in Yoga Education from Yoga Vidya Gurukul, Pune University in 2013. More recently, Neha obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in August 2021, and is scheduled to receive their Google Cloud Engineer and Google Cloud Digital Leader certifications in May 2023.
