Alec G. Nedelman

Alec G. Nedelman is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the field of commercial real estate finance. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Santa Monica Conservancy and the Board of Advisors for the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, Alec also contributes to Online Land Planning LLC as a Global Team member. With a distinguished career at the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, Alec held multiple leadership positions including President from 2017 to 2018 and Chair of the Executive Committee from 2018 to 2019. Previous roles include Senior Counsel at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP and General Counsel at both Safehold Inc. and iStar Inc., where notable contributions involved innovative ground lease solutions and real estate ownership models. Alec's involvement on the board of Century Housing and as Senior Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at Fremont Investment & Loan further reflects a commitment to community development and finance. Alec holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UC San Diego.
