Gaylene Galliford

Gaylene Galliford has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Gaylene started their career in 1992 as an Assistant Division Manager at Extra Foods, where they were responsible for managing sales and operations, controlling costs, and supervising department managers. In 1999, they joined Canadian Petcetera as a Group Merchandise Manager, overseeing merchandising, marketing, and procurement for cat and dog products. Gaylene then moved to Apria Healthcare in 2001 as the Manager of Training, Design & Development, where they specialized in eLearning technologies and managed the implementation of LMS and LCMS systems.

In 2009, Gaylene joined Technical Solutions Inc as a Learning Strategist, where they played a key role in developing and implementing eLearning strategies for clients. Later that year, they joined Online Trading Academy, initially as a Content Development Manager, and then promoted to the Senior Director of Product Solutions. In this role, they focused on driving innovation, increasing operational efficiency, and leading key initiatives. Gaylene led the implementation of various product and technology solutions, developed business processes for educational programs, and collaborated effectively with all departments and stakeholders. Gaylene also facilitated weekly product scrums and oversaw the agile development and production of global online and on-location education curricula.

Gaylene Galliford attended the University of Alberta from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Biology and Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In March 2019, they completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training from Dale Carnegie Training. Gaylene also completed the Dale Carnegie Communications Training from the same institution in May 2016. In June 2004, they received the Professional Training Executive certification from Friesen, Kaye and Associates.
