Chengguang (David) Wu

Chengguang (David) Wu began their career in 2016 as a Researcher in cancer immunology at Universitätsspital Zürich. In 2020, they joined OnQuality Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as an Assistant Director of Translational Medicine. In this role, they led the team for new drug development projects and was responsible for translational medicine work including in vitro high-throughput drug screening and biomarker investigation. Chengguang (David) also lubricated the communication between pre-clinical and clinical teams and coordinated functional teams to facilitate the whole process of R&D and managed the timeline and other resources. Chengguang (David) was later promoted to Associate Director of Translational Medicine, where they continued to perform the same duties.

Chengguang (David) Wu began their educational journey in 2004 when they attended NO.2 Middle School of Shijiazhuang/No.2 High School Shijiazhuang and obtained their High School Diploma in 2007. Chengguang (David) then attended Sichuan University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Pharmacy - BPharm in 2011 and their Master of Science - MS in Pharmacology in 2015. In 2016, they began attending the Life Science Zurich Graduate School (run jointly by ETH and UZH), where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular and Translational Biomedicine in 2019. Chengguang (David) also obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Zurich in 2020.
