Mariam Ragab

Mariam Ragab has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Currently, they are working at Onramp Invest as the Manager of Software Development. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company. In 2020, Mariam was a Managing Partner at Scratchpad Consulting. Before that, they held positions at Global Vision as the Youth Engagement and Program Manager, as well as the Youth Program Coordinator. In 2020, they also served as the Vice President of Operations at Websona. Additionally, Mariam worked as a Senior Consultant and Team Leader at STEM World Educational Services for a brief period in 2021. Mariam gained research experience at the Bank of Canada as a Research Assistant and at the C.D. Howe Institute where they worked as a Research Assistant and Research Intern. Mariam also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant and Assignment Manager at Dalhousie University, where they also served as a Residence Assistant. Furthermore, they represented Canada as a Delegate at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and was a Junior Analyst at Employment and Social Development Canada.

Mariam Ragab attended Dalhousie University from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a focus on Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications in different fields. In 2019, they completed a certification in "Justice" from HarvardX, an online learning initiative by Harvard University through edX. In 2020, they earned a "Social Leadership Certification" from Global Vision and completed the "Urban101x: CitiesX: The Past, Present and Future of Urban Life" course from HarvardX. Mariam also obtained a certification in "Psychological First Aid" from Coursera. In 2021, they completed the "Introduction to Marketing" course from Coursera, followed by a certification in "Financial Markets (with Honors)" from the same platform in 2021. Most recently, in 2022, they achieved a specialization certification in "Leading the Modern Day Business" from Coursera.
