Mickenzie Vought has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mickenzie began their career at the University of Michigan as a Resident Advisor and later worked as a Research Assistant. Mickenzie then transitioned to Mercy Multiplied, where they held multiple roles, including Coordinator of Transitional Care and Ambassador Program and Social Media and Ambassador Program Manager. Mickenzie was responsible for managing and cultivating brand advocates and increasing engagement and involvement. Mickenzie also worked at Ramsey Solutions as a Social Media Marketer before joining Onsite Workshops. At Onsite Workshops, they served as the Community and Digital Marketing Manager, Content Manager, and currently holds the position of Director of Editorial and Community.

Mickenzie Vought completed their education in two institutions. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Bronson High School where they received their high school diploma. Following that, they enrolled in the University of Michigan from 2009 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications.
