Dr Mohammed Z K Mohammed is a highly skilled research scientist with extensive experience in cancer research and protein-ligand binding characterization. Currently employed at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since June 2014, Dr Mohammed has held positions as Research Scientist, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate, focusing on the design and execution of SPR assays and hit-to-lead characterization of small molecules. Prior experience includes roles as a Lecturer at the University of Nottingham and the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, along with a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Nottingham and a Master's in Clinical Biochemistry from Baghdad University. Dr Mohammed's career began with medical training, obtaining an M.B.Ch.B from Baghdad University before transitioning into research.
