Stephanie Mercier

Stephanie Mercier is an experienced healthcare professional and legal scholar with a diverse background in nursing and research. Currently serving as an Articled Student at the Ontario Nurses' Association since August 2022, Stephanie also holds a position as a Registered Nurse with the Government of Nunavut since May 2021. Prior experiences include advanced nursing roles at Hôpital Montfort and the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, as well as research positions at the University of Ottawa. In addition to clinical practice, Stephanie has also ventured into politics as a candidate for the New Democratic Party of Canada in 2019. Stephanie holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Ottawa, complemented by a Master of Science in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing.
