Karim Hussein's work experience spans over 16 years in the finance industry. Karim began their career at Citigroup as an Equity Derivatives Product Control Junior Accountant, where they improved price verification procedures and conducted sensitivity analysis for index-linked products. Karim then moved on to Société Générale as a Sales & Trading Analyst, overseeing client liaison and implementing sales tools. Karim joined Credit Suisse as an Equity Derivatives Structuring Associate, pricing exotic equity option payouts and creating innovative equity indices. Karim worked at UBS as an Equity Derivatives Business Analyst, coordinating the outsourcing of the equity option product control function and developing an operational framework for equity collateralized loans. At American Express, Karim held various roles, including GNICS Financial Planning & Analysis Director and GCSG Investment Optimization Finance Director, leading strategic initiatives and financial analyses. Karim also worked at Barclays as Chief of Staff and Head of Business Transformation for the Private Bank. Currently, Karim is the Managing Director of Portfolio Management & Equities Transformation at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

Karim Hussein completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of Nottingham from 2002 to 2005. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the London Business School. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including "Managing Big Data with MySQL," "Data Visualization and Communication with Tableau," "Mastering Data Analysis in Excel," "The Global Financial Crisis," and "Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies" from Coursera Course Certificates between December 2015 and March 2016.
