Rob Gibson has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Rob started their career as a Financial Engineering Intern at IBM Algorithmics in 2013. After that, they worked as a Debt Products Associate at BMO Capital Markets from August 2013 to January 2015. In February 2015, Rob joined TD as a Treasury & Balance Sheet Management Associate, where they took on various responsibilities including managing a team of developers, creating forecasting tools, and writing market reports. In September 2016, they transitioned to the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, initially working as an Analyst in Alternative Investments before moving to roles in Developed Markets Fixed Income & Currencies. Rob was an Associate from April 2018 to March 2020 and was then promoted to Principal in March 2020.
Rob Gibson completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Honours Applied Mathematics from McGill University. Rob attended McGill from 2007 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Mathematical Finance degree from the University of Toronto from 2012 to 2013.
