Xiaohui Peng has a diverse work experience, starting in 2009 as a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University, where they conducted lab sections and provided assistance to students. In 2012, Xiaohui worked as an intern at Manulife Financial. They then joined BMO Capital Markets in 2013 as a Senior Analyst. In 2014, Xiaohui began their tenure at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, starting as a Quantitative Consultant and later transitioning to an Investment Associate role. In their most recent position at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Xiaohui served as the Principal, Strategy and Risk, where they were responsible for developing and designing a quantitative research tool, implementing new features, and refactoring code.
Xiaohui Peng holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Waterloo, which was obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, Xiaohui completed a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from McMaster University from 2009 to 2011. Xiaohui's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, earned from 2005 to 2009. In addition to academic degrees, Xiaohui has also acquired certifications in Front-End JavaScript Frameworks: Angular and Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools: Bootstrap 4, both obtained through Coursera in 2020.
