Matthias Cornet

Matthias Cornet has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Matthias began their career as an ICT Security Compliance researcher at IMPAKT, where they completed an internship. Following this, they joined KBC Bank & Verzekering, first as a Murex Functional Analyst from September 2011 to June 2014, and then as a SAP Application Engineer from June 2014 to September 2017. Since October 2017, Matthias has been working at Ontex as a SAP ABAP / SAPUI5 developer, before being promoted to the role of SAP Integration & Development Team Lead in May 2020. In this position, they lead a team of experts in SAP integration and development, provides day-to-day support, solves incidents and tickets, defines roadmaps and goals for future SAP IT landscape, and supports decisions on enterprise architecture. Matthias has a strong skill set in SAP development and has experience in SAPUI5 / Fiori development, OData gateway development, CDS, SAP Cloud platform, Cloud connector, SAP MII development, and SAP Web IDE.

Matthias Cornet completed their Master's degree in Commercial Sciences from HOGENT, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Matthias then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Informatics from Ghent University, which they successfully completed in 2011.
