Shyam R. has extensive work experience in various technology leadership roles. Shyam is currently the CIO and CISO at Onto Innovation, where they are responsible for driving IT strategy and execution for a semiconductor equipment manufacturer. Shyam leads several significant technology transformations and focuses on enhancing customer experience. Prior to this, they served as the VP and CIO at Nanometrics. At Qualcomm, Shyam held the position of VP and CIO for the IoT BU, where they were responsible for IT strategy, enterprise application planning, and infrastructure roadmap, among other responsibilities. Shyam also has experience as the Vice President of Engineering at uPark and as the Chief Information Officer at Mettler-Toledo Rainin, LLC. Shyam has also worked at Advent Software, IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Cummins Inc., where they held various managerial and analyst roles.

Shyam R. has a diverse education background with a focus on business management and technology. Shyam earned an Executive MBA in Supply Chain Management from the National University of Singapore. Shyam also pursued an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
