Yongmin Choi

Yongmin Choi started working as an Environmental Health Safety Engineer at Onto Innovation in June 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing environmental health and safety conditions and implementing safety measures. Yongmin also worked on various projects such as the Taylor Project and several upgrade projects. Additionally, they worked on ISO9001 compliance and equipment quality audits. In December 2022, they began working on PSM (Process Safety Management) and ISO45001 compliance at Onto Innovation.

Before joining Onto Innovation, Yongmin Choi worked at KLA Orbotech starting in June 2018. Yongmin served as a Tech, Prod Test Engineer and was responsible for final testing. Yongmin also worked on a Lean Manufacturing Project, improving tact time and operational efficiency. Additionally, they worked on the Dallas Project, overseeing product development and operational improvements.

Yongmin CHOI completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Semiconductor Engineering at Cheongju University from 2010 to 2018. In 2018, they also obtained a Certificate in English Proficiency (Advanced) from PSB Academy. Additionally, Yongmin has obtained several certifications including Facility Maintenance Controller from Standards Council of Canada (SCC) in May 2018, Certificate of Solar Energy Semiconductor, Certificate of Market and Tech of semiconductor display, Certificate of key principles of MOSFET & DRAM & NAND Flash, Certificate of Semiconductor fabrication 8th Process & Equipment of lithography, etching, deposition and cleaning, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Certificate of Cadence Full-Custom IC Design. These certifications were obtained between 2015 and 2018, indicating a commitment to professional development and expertise in the field of semiconductor engineering.
