Isabel Gaviria Ormaza

Isabel Gaviria Ormaza has a diverse work experience. Isabel currently holds the position of Head of Legal at Ontop since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Legal Leader at Ontop from September 2022 to March 2023 and as a Legal Executive from July 2021 to September 2022. Isabel also has experience in academia, serving as a member of the Research Seedbed in Interdisciplinary Studies of Taxation at Universidad de los Andes - Colombia from June 2020 to May 2022. Isabel also worked as a Teacher Assistant for Pablo Rey Vallejo at the same university from August 2020 to December 2020. In addition, Isabel has experience at law firms, working as a Junior Associate in Tax Law at Posse Herrera Ruiz from April 2021 to July 2021 and as a Paralegal in Tax Law from January 2021 to April 2021. Isabel'searlier experience includes working as a Legal Assistant at Jaime Lombana Abogado, where they performed various tasks in the field of criminal law for four months from May 2019 to August 2019.

Isabel Gaviria Ormaza completed their Bachelor's degree in Law (Grado en Derecho) from Universidad de Los Andes in the years 2015-2021. Prior to that, they completed their high school education (Bachillerato) at Colegio Anglo Colombiano from 2001-2015. Additionally, they obtained certifications in FinTech Law and Policy from Coursera and in Constructores de Paz and Fundamentos de Las Finanzas Empresariales from Universidad de los Andes - Colombia in the year 2020.
