Todor Primov

Todor Primov has a solid work experience in various roles related to the life sciences and healthcare industry. Their most recent position was as the Head of Life Sciences and Healthcare Products and Solutions at Ontotext, where they defined the strategy and vision for delivering high-value products in the pharmaceutical value chain. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Research and Innovation, managing innovative semantic technology projects and implementing the company's strategy for vertical focus in domains like life sciences and pharma. Todor also worked as a Product Manager at Ontotext, responsible for designing business solutions based on semantic technology.

Before joining Ontotext, Todor worked at ICW as a Senior Business Consultant, providing technical consulting for eHealth infrastructure projects and managing national and regional projects. Todor also had a role as the Director of Bioinformatics at Metalife, where they developed a decision support platform for drug discovery research.

Todor's early work experience includes a research scientist position at the Institute of Molecular Biology at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Todor Primov obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Molecular Biology from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, which they attended from 1994 to 2000.
