Rahul Mehta

Rahul Mehta has extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. Rahul currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Healthcare at Onward Technologies Limited. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Leadership member at GAVS Technologies.

In their previous role at Simplify Healthcare, Rahul was the EVP and Head of Delivery Excellence, Data Analytics, and Interoperability. Rahul played a key role in driving talent acquisition and building horizontal delivery and COE frameworks. Rahul also successfully implemented initiatives to reduce contractor spend and headcount.

Before joining Simplify Healthcare, Rahul had a long tenure at CitiusTech, where they held various leadership roles. Rahul was responsible for building and scaling up the Data Management horizontal BU, as well as leading the platform engineering team. Rahul also headed the Payer Market BU and played a crucial role in growing the Healthcare Interoperability and Clinical Data Integration professional services business.

Prior to their time at CitiusTech, Rahul worked at GE Healthcare as a Program Manager, overseeing large product engineering and implementation programs. Rahul also led a global interoperability team and contributed to the development of IHE profiles.

Rahul's career began at Abbott Laboratories, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Architect. Rahul played a key role in the development of n-tiered software applications and defined the software development process.

Rahul also gained experience at Motorola and Texas Instruments as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Software Engineer, respectively.

Rahul Mehta holds a Master of Science - MS degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington (1996-1998). Rahul also obtained an MBA degree in Global Strategy and Management from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (2009-2011). Rahul completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Mumbai, earning a B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication (1990-1994), after completing their HSC education at Parle College (1988-1990), with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Electronics. Additionally, they have engaged in further studies in General Management and Strategy at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (2007-present).
