Laura Bell

Laura Bell Main is the CEO and Founder of SafeStack, a company dedicated to equipping software development teams with the necessary skills to produce high-quality, secure software efficiently. In addition to their role at SafeStack, Laura serves on the DevNetwork Advisory Board, contributing to content curation and judging the annual DEVIES Awards. Laura has a strong background in application security, having lectured at Developers Institute and held advisory roles with Onwardly and Hackers Helping Hackers. Previous experiences include positions at KPMG New Zealand, Spendvision, and Lateral Security, focusing on security assessments, risk advisory, and IT security integration. Laura also played a founding role at In2securITy Limited, promoting the development of future IT security professionals in New Zealand. Laura holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from Aberystwyth University.
