Enrique Palacios Rojo

Enrique Palacios Rojo has over 20 years of work experience. Enrique began their career in 1999 as a Retail Banking Officer at Caja Madrid, followed by roles as a Market Liquidity Senior Officer and a Sovereign Fixed Income Senior Officer. In 2010, they became the Deputy Manager at Bankia Dublin Branch, where they were responsible for the opening, managing, and winding down of the branch in Ireland. Enrique also fulfilled minimum reserve account requirements with both Spain and Irish regulators, produced and submitted taxes to the Revenue, and collaborated to execute the annual internal and external audit procedures. In 2017, they became a Business Consultant and Financial Manager at Fairbill Payment Gateway. In 2018, they were a Business Analyst/Project Manager for Blockchain Applications at Eurohelp Consulting. In 2019, they were the CFO of PAYMATICO, a Lecturer of Introduction to Blockchain and Business Models at MSMK, and a Content Creator of Programa Despega by Amazon at IE Business School. Currently, they are the CCO at Onyze.

Enrique Palacios Rojo has a Bachelor degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which they obtained from 1989 to 1995. Enrique then obtained a Diploma in Management Studies from the Dublin Business School from 2011 to 2012, followed by a Diploma in Advanced Negotiation Skills from the Independent College from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they obtained an Introducción al Business Intelligence from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. From 2017 to 2018, they obtained an Experto Universitario Banca Digital y Fintech from UNIR - La Universidad en Internet, a Blockchain Course from ICEMD, a Blockchain, Ethereum programming course from Blockchain España, and a Mifid 2 Certification from IEB. Enrique is also currently working towards a DeFi Certified Professional from Crypto Plaza, which they are expected to obtain in December 2022.
