Emily Shields has had a varied work experience. Emily started their career as a Function Manager at Bursaria from 2008 to 2011. Emily then joined oOh! as a Campaign Executive from 2011 to 2013. Following that, they worked as a Content Marketing professional at Pact Coffee in 2013. Emily returned to oOh! in 2015, where they served as a Brand Marketing Executive until 2019. In the same year, Emily joined ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects as an Interior Architect before returning to oOh! as a Brand Manager, where they currently work.
Emily Shields has a diverse education history. From 2000 to 2005, they attended Wesley College and completed an International Baccalaureate, focusing on subjects such as Chemistry, Art, Psychology, English, Maths, and Spanish. In 2007, they enrolled at RMIT University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Communication (Media) degree with a concentration in Event Management and Film, completing their studies in 2010. Additionally, Emily obtained a certification in Bachelor of Communications (Media) from RMIT University in October 2010. In 2013, they attended The Graphic Design School and obtained an Intensive Foundation Certificate in Graphic Design. Lastly, in 2015, they briefly studied Interior Architecture at Swinburne University of Technology, completing an Honours program.
