Michael Wigginton has extensive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition roles. Michael started their career in 2004 at Manhattan Group as a Senior Associate and worked there until 2010. Michael then moved on to Crown Casino as a Senior Talent/Recruitment Consultant for a brief period. In 2010, they joined Toyota Motor Corporation Australia as a Recruitment Business Partner, responsible for bulk recruitment and middle management roles. After that, they worked at Fenner Dunlop as a Recruitment and Mobility Manager, where they set up overseas recruitment programs and developed policies and procedures. Michael then worked at Goulburn Murray Water as a Recruitment Manager during a corporate restructure. In 2014, they held various contract roles as a Recruitment Business Partner for different companies, where they partnered with the business in large-scale recruitment and specialized white-collar roles. In 2016, they joined Good Year Dunlop Tyres/Beaurepaires Australia as a Recruitment Talent Specialist, and in 2018, they moved to MaxiTRANS as a Senior Recruitment Business Partner for ANZ. Currently, they are working at oOh! as a Recruitment Business Partner. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in setting strategic direction for talent acquisition, building relationships with stakeholders, and analyzing and modifying compensation and benefits.
Michael Wigginton's education history begins with their attendance at the International School Philippines in an unspecified time but presumably before 1984. Michael then went on to Ivanhoe Boys Grammar School Ridgeway Campus from 1985 to 1988. Following this, they pursued an apprenticeship in cookery at Preston College of Tafe from 1988 to 1991. In 1995, Wigginton obtained an Associate Diploma in Hotel Management from William Angliss. Finally, they completed a Diploma in HR Business Management at Customised Training Victoria in 2010.
