What you’ll do:
Work closely with clients and project team to understand and define requirements then translate them into a project plan
Create and constantly maintain accurate project timelines that help achieve on-time delivery
Monitor and ensure accurate revenue forecasting for your projects including milestone payments and monthly T&M invoices
Ensure that capacity planning is constantly kept up-to-date and projects are properly staffed to meet contracted timelines
Proactively identify project risks, manage client expectations, and control project scope
Communicate with project stakeholders from discovery through launch, leading weekly or sometimes daily client meetings
Organize the backlog and track open issues, project sprints, and epics
Oversee the Quality Assurance phase of the project to ensure a high quality working experience and product delivery that will delight clients
Required skills & knowledge:
5+ years managing digital web development projects, in an agency setting and with a successful enterprise-level project (budgets of $250k+) under your belt
Confidence in leading technical conversations with or without the support of engineers
You can demonstrate a keen understanding of the Drupal content management system and its supporting technologies
Intermediate-level familiarity with the JIRA/Confluence platform as it relates to task management, sprint planning, workflow management and potential other uses
Comfortable playing devil’s advocate — proactively look for red flags, call out potential issues and escalate them when necessary in a cool, calm, and friendly manner
Confidence in navigating ambiguous scenarios through insightful questions
Knowledge, skills, and abilities in leading all phases of a web project (discovery, UX, design, development, QA, UAT, launch)
Proactive project problem solving — you know what’s happening now, what to expect next, and what to do about it
Clear, effective, and adaptive communication skills — out loud and in writing
Ability to forge productive working relationships with both internal project teams and client stakeholders
Time Zone Availability
Must be East Coast-based or willing to work East Coast hours

We're currently seeking folks who can demonstrate, at minimum, the mid-level knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for success in this role. The salary range for this position at Oomph is $72-88k and the starting level and salary are based on assessing skills and experience during our interview process.
