Rakesh Kumar

Rakesh Kumar has worked in three companies throughout their career. Rakesh began as a Summer Trainee at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in 2014. In 2020, they joined Manikaran Analytics Limited as an Assistant Manager Operations. In this role, they had a thorough understanding about the rules & regulations of Forecasting & Scheduling (F & S) and Deviation Settlement Mechanism (DSM) applicable in various states across the country and CERC regulation related to Deviation Settlement Mechanism for CTU connected plants. Rakesh also had expertise as Team Leader or Team Player in Wind/Solar forecasting and scheduling. Additionally, they worked as State shift Incharge in 24*7 operations Control Room, handled Forcasting and Scheduling activities for Wind Plants of Maharastra state at PSS level, and managed to prepare daily, weekly and Monthly accuracy report of our forcast and schedule for minimum deviation(Penalty) and maximum accuracy which have indirect impact on our grid stability also benificial for our Generators. In 2022, Rakesh Kumar joined Oorjan Cleantech Private Limited as an Assistant Manager-Sales and Operations.

Rakesh Kumar completed a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal formerly WBUT from 2011 to 2015. Before that, they completed Intermediate in Science from GAYA COLLEGE, GAYA from 2008 to 2010, and Higher Senior Secondary from MAHAVIR INTER COLLEGE, GAYA BIHAR from 2006 to 2008, with a focus in Mathematics. Rakesh also holds a certification from the Government of India through NSDC.
