Laura Grier is an experienced program manager specializing in policy within the energy sector, currently serving as the Program Manager for Southeast Policy at the Energy Foundation since July 2020. Grier has a diverse background in climate policy, having completed a fellowship with the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and interned with the U.S. Climate Alliance. Previous roles include conducting research on environmental justice for the Michigan Environmental Justice Coalition, coordinating climate advocacy training with Virginia Interfaith Power & Light, and teaching as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan. Grier holds a Master's Degree in Natural Resources and the Environment from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
