Marjo Orrenmaa

Marjo Orrenmaa is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in compliance, corporate law, and risk management within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at OP Financial Group since February 2018, Marjo leads the compliance organization and previously held several key positions, including Director of Corporate Law and Data Protection and Director of Recovery and Resolution, where responsibilities included enhancing resolvability and recovery planning for the group. Prior roles at Bonum Pankki Oyj included Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, contributing to the establishment of the founding credit institution, and Vice President, Senior Legal Counsel at Nordea Bank Finland, providing legal support in various banking operations. Marjo’s career began at Nordea Life Assurance Finland and Nordea Bank Finland after completing a Master of Laws degree at the University of Helsinki.
