Lead Electronics Engineering Manager at OP Mobility

Andy Glovatsky has extensive experience in the field of electronics engineering, beginning with their role as a Staff Process Engineer at IBM from 1987 to 1994. At IBM, they developed assembly processes for military hybrid modules and circuit board assemblies. Andy then joined Ford Motor Company in 1994 as a Technical Specialist, where they focused on implementing high volume and low ppm processes for automotive electronic modules and developed advanced assembly technologies.

In 2000, Andy joined Visteon Corporation as an Engineering Manager / Technical Fellow, leading the Pb-Free solder transition on electronic products and conducting component, process development, and materials reliability testing and analysis. Andy later moved to Varroc Lighting Systems in 2012 as an Electronics Product Development Engineering Manager. In this role, they managed the electrical engineering product development team and led the product development process for designing LED control modules and advanced forward lighting electronics for OEMs.

Currently, Andy is working at Plastic Omnium as the Lead Electronics Engineering Manager since 2022. In this role, they lead a team of engineers focused on technical program management of lighting programs, overseeing the entire process from quote to launch. The team collaborates with various engineering disciplines and handles areas such as cost estimation, system requirements, design of hardware and associated software, manufacturing coordination, and product delivery.

Andy Glovatsky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University in 1987. Andy later pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering from Binghamton University, completing their studies in 1994.
