Calaix Alexander

Calaix Alexander currently serves as the Co-Executive Director of Finance and Operations at OPAL Environmental Justice Oregon since August 2022. Previously, Alexander worked as the Director of Finance at SCRAP Creative Reuse from January 2020 to July 2022. In their current role, Alexander oversees daily financial activities, supports long-term financial planning, and ensures operational and fiscal procedures are in compliance with GAAP. They also develop and implement operational and fiscal plans, lead fundraising strategies, and supervise staff related to operations and finance. Additionally, Alexander serves as the primary liaison between the organization, external accounting team, and external CFO, while managing payroll and HR.
