Lorenz Graf

Lorenz Graf is an experienced engineer currently serving as Team Lead Field Application Engineer at OPAL-RT Technologies since September 2020, where leadership of a technical expert team specializing in product development, project execution, customer support, and software integration is undertaken. Prior experience includes a role as HiL Field Application Engineer, focused on hardware-in-the-loop projects related to electrical networks, power electronics, and electric motors. Previous positions encompass a working student role at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, contributing to the development of a virtual software environment for Siemens SICAM microgrid controllers, alongside various internships and student positions at Siemens, FutureING, and SenerTec, gaining skills in programming, monitoring contracts, sensor development, and directing research projects. Lorenz Graf holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, completed in 2020.
