Elizabeth Smith

Elizabeth Smith is an experienced operations professional currently serving as the Director of Operations at Open Book Communications since February 2022, with prior roles including Operations Manager and Office Administrator + Assistant to the CEO. Elizabeth brings a diverse background, having worked as an Account Manager at Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza from April 2018 to April 2021 and as a Clinical Review Technician at Prime Therapeutics from October 2016 to April 2018. Earlier experience includes a position as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, where Elizabeth analyzed artifacts related to subsistence patterns, and as a Lead/Assistant Manager at South Coast Deli. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology with a minor in Education from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2016.
