Claire Smith

Claire Smith has an extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Claire is currently serving as the VP, People at Open Cosmos since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at EV Cargo Technology, where they held various positions including Director of People Operations from July 2018 to November 2020, Head of People Operations (HR) from April 2017 to June 2018, and Talent Acquisition and Development Manager from January 2016 to April 2017. Before joining EV Cargo Technology, they worked as an HR Business Partner, EMEA at IDBS from May 2014 to December 2015. Claire also has experience as an HR Advisor at Allegis Group Services from October 2012 to December 2013, and as an HR Generalist at LG Electronics from August 2008 to September 2011.

Claire Smith completed their MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Wolverhampton between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a CPP in HR Practices from Manchester Open Learning, studying from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their degrees, they have pursued additional certifications, including "Giving and Receiving Feedback," "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence," "Leading Yourself," and "Learning to Be Assertive," which were obtained from LinkedIn in various months of 2019.
